2010. The challenge ...

last from today until Saturday 13 spaces Agora begins Workshow Comics & Games "Weavers of Dreams." I am very happy and satisfied for the realization of this project very dear to me, not only because Lucca is indisputably recognized as the city of Comics, but also because we can offer a lot of guys a lot of interesting and educational initiatives at the cultural level. In a time where we often hear that there is no attention to the needs of young people, this initiative is a fantastic resource for those interested in the art of comics, intelligent game, animation and more.

The project comes to life thanks to the contribution of the Ministry of Youth Affairs in collaboration with ANCI and part of the activities carried out by the national network GAI - Giovani Italian artists in the calendar of activities titled "Creative Italy ". Workshow-Weavers of dreams is made in collaboration with Lucca Comics and Games and Atlantyca Int and the involvement of its authors and tutors at the national level that will help young talents to debut in the world of animation and gaming. The young fellows, selected through national competition and already work on the project since October 2009, will be in our city for all this week and will participate as well, the second training phase of the project. Join the charity concert to help families affected by flooding dell'Oltreserchio scheduled for next February 20.
The proceeds will go to increase the availability of bank account established by the Municipality of Lucca to assist families affected by the flood.
The concert is made possible thanks to the collaboration of youth organizations active in music and entertainment our city is a way by which young people want to stay close to those who have lost all or much in the last flood disaster that hit the territory of Lucca.

I considered it important to accept the proposal of the boys so the concert will be made in the structure of the Forum Boario made available free of charge by the Town Council.
